Pulp wood chips

Pulp wood chips are chopped hardwood or softwood pieces which are used for production of pulp. When producing pulp, wood chips are supplemented with chemicals and boiled until they dissolve into wood fibre. Later on they are bleeched, thus become the white pulp known as the base of production for Tissue Papers and high quality papers. Quality requirements for pulp wood chips are slightly lower than for TMP wood chips. Slight discoloration and low bark contents are generally tolerated in pulp wood chips.
